Wednesday 29th March - Zarautz, Spain

We love, love, love Zarautz!  The campsite is within walking distance of a wonderful beach (just 20 minutes along the coastal path) and has wonderful sea views.  As well as being on the coastal path, there are many local country lanes and footpaths for walking enthusiasts and it's on the Santiago long distance walking route too, so it's popular with backpacking hikers.  Of course, it helps that the sun is out and the sky is blue.  Today we took a walk along the coastal path and along the beach, then settled down to watch the surfers and one very determined dog who was digging his way to Australia.  Magic.
