Friday 7th October–Desenzano del Garda to Troghi (Florence), Italy

 

Today we travelled from Lake Garda to our next campsite in the Tuscan hills outside Florence.  Jane (TomTom) took us on a slight shortcut cross-country up a steep slope, but we’re used to that now.

Angela loved the campsite at first sight but Roland took against it although he wasn’t sure why.  There are lovely views from the restaurant/bar and a direct bus into Florence stops just outside the campsite, Il Poggetto.
